The YAHOOS
Since 1975 the YAHOOS (and a few select YAHOOTERS) have been brewing great beer in southwestern Connecticut.
They meet once a month at a secret location to taste their beers. Sometimes in June they hold the Chief Winnapauk Pale Face & Ale Competition. This is a club-only event. In December they spend an evening at the Silli Bière Competition. Once a year, during a month that changes according to the whims of the homebrew gods, they sponsor the Southern New England Regional Homebrew Competition (SNERHC). This is a big deal. This competition is part of the New England Homebrewer of the Year Competition. The YAHOOS have no president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer or any other officers. The lads don't go in for that sort of stuff. If by any chance you'd like to meet the YAHOOS or, God forbid, join them, contact Chickenman: drgies@earthlink.net Some of the YAHOOS are, in no particular order of importance: The Judge (emeritus) Various YAHOOTERS |
